Residential Controller Technician Online

This course offers the irrigation contractor the solution to a water-efficient residential irrigation system control. Rain Bird’s residential and light commercial controller line contain the features necessary to efficiently irrigate a property with minimal ongoing changes, i.e. you spend less time on the customer’s property. This class will cover programming techniques of three different Rain Bird res/com controller products: ESP-TM2, ESP-Me, and LNK WiFi Stick. This class will also cover basic troubleshooting techniques for traditionally wired irrigation controllers.

ESP-TM2 (Module)

This module will present students with the programming process and advanced features of the Rain Bird ESP-TM2 controller.

ESP-Me (Module)

This module will present students with the programming process and advanced features of the Rain Bird ESP-Me controller.

LNK WiFi (Module)

This module will present students with the installation and setup process as well as operation of the Rain Bird LNK WiFi module.

WR2 Sensor (Module)

This module will present students with the installation and programming process for the Rain Bird WR2 Wireless Rain/Freeze Sensor.

Electrical Troubleshooting (Module)

This module will present students with the basic electrical troubleshooting steps for an electric irrigation controller.
