Thank you for your interest in the 2020 SCA Annual Meeting and Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium. The SCA Board of Directors has decided that it is in the best interest of the entire SCA community, for the 2020 Annual Meeting & Workshops and Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium (TAS), scheduled for April 17-21 in West Palm Beach, Florida, to be cancelled. We were all looking forward to the wonderful intellectual collaboration and social interactions that our annual meeting has provided for the last 41 years. While this decision was not easy, it was certainly the safest and most practical response to this historic event. We know this Annual Meeting and TAS event is eagerly awaited by members -- from seasoned experts to first time presenters. Hundreds of participants have been preparing to present their work. With that in mind, our staff and volunteer leaders will be exploring ways to ensure content can be presented in the future and our communities can engage in other ways. So stay tuned! If you had registered for the meeting, an additional communication will be sent to you.
