To our Doctors and Dental Teams, We hope this finds you all well, safe and getting through these tumultuous times and navigating through these uncharted waters. This too shall pass and better days are ahead for us all for sure. The Planning Board has been working tirelessly to decide the best outcome for the Greater Long Island Dental Meeting and all those involved with our great show. Because there is no vaccine in place, gatherings of our size cannot take place. Therefore, the idea of a virtual platform to replace the "live" show in September has been studied and reviewed over the past two months. The Board came to the conclusion that because of all the online virtual continuing education, practices trying to get back up to speed with some normalcy as well as schools, colleges still having no concrete plan on how to proceed, it was unanimously decided that the GLIDM "virtual" show in September will not take place and instead plan for a "live" meeting for 2021. We are in the process of securing two dates in the months of April and June in the event that the virus is still present. As for Scientific Sessions, we are working on a program to be spread out over the next several months to accommodate all those who have already registered and courses will be held in the evening for your convenience. A list of the speakers/topics will be sent out in the upcoming weeks. Your payments can be applied to our virtual courses or moved to our 2021 event or refunded. A contact list of all our devoted Exhibitors will be sent out to everyone for your support. They are here to serve you and can truly guide you through these difficult times. GLIDM will be sending out various flyers from our sponsors with the hope that someone in need can find answers they are seeking. We are all in this together and we all need to help one another! The Greater Long Island Dental Meeting has been existence for over 55 years and will always be here to serve all our awesome doctors and staff members!
